Summary:
- Brother Remigius died in 1983.
- Brother Remigius, a/k/a Francis O’Lone, was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on one occasion in approximately 1952 when the boy was approximately 14 years old. The boy came to know Brother Remigius when the boy was attending a summer camp, Camp St. Joseph’s Villa in Hackettstown, New Jersey. The sexual abuse took place in a cabin at the camp.
- The sexual abuse by Brother Remigius included the following: Brother Remigius exposed the boy’s penis and then pulled out his own penis. Brother Remigius had the boy lie down on the floor, and Brother Remigius got on top of the boy, rubbing his genitals against the boy’s genitals, skin-on-skin.
- The claim settled in 2020 in the mid-five figures.
