  • Father Hermansen was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least fifty occasions from approximately 1979 to 1983 when the child was approximately 13 to 17 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Hermansen was assigned to St. Paul’s Church in Princeton, New Jersey, and the child was an altar boy at the church.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Hermansen included Father Hermansen performing oral sex on the child and forcing the child to perform oral sex on Father Hermansen. Father Hermansen also sodomized the boy on multiple occasions.
