During the period of sexual abuse, according to the Official Catholic Directory, Father Riordan was assigned to Queen of Apostles Seminary in Dedham, Massachusetts, though the girl did not know Father Riordan through his affiliation with the seminary.
- The sexual abuse by Father Riordan included the following: Father Riordan kissed the girl on the lips and fondled her breasts over her clothing.
