- Father Lawrence W. Mullins was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least twenty-five occasions from approximately 1984 until approximately 1989 when the male child was approximately fourteen to nineteen years of age. During the period of sexual abuse, the boy was a student at Immaculate Conception High School in Elmhurst, IL, while Father Mullins was a priest at Immaculate Conception Church located next door. The sexual abuse took place in the locker room and in the hallways of Immaculate Conception High School.
- The sexual abuse by Father Mullins consisted of Father Mullins watching the boy shower naked in the locker room and Father Mullins groping and fondling the boy’s penis and testicles over the boy’s clothing.
- The claim settled in 2025 in the low six figures.
