Summary:
- Father Mark K. Fleming was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least three occasions from approximately 1982 until approximately 1983 when the boy was approximately seven to eight years of age. The sexual abuse took place in the rectory of St. John the Evangelist Church and in St. John the Evangelist Church.
- The sexual abuse by Father Fleming consisted of the following: Father Fleming exposing his penis and masturbating in front of the boy; and Father Fleming fondling the boy’s penis and testicles skin-on-skin.
- The claim settled in 2025 in the low six figures.
