Summary:
  • Brother Donald Richard, F.M.S., was accused of sexually abusing a female minor child on approximately twenty occasions from approximately 1986 to 1988 when the girl was approximately 15 to 17 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Brother Donald Richard was assigned to Roselle Catholic High School in Roselle, New Jersey, and the girl was a student at the school.
  • The sexual abuse by Brother Donald Richard included the following: Brother Donald Richard kissed the girl on the lips; he fondled her breasts, skin-on-skin; and he made her sit on his lap, where she could feel his erect penis against her buttocks over their clothing.
  • The claim settled in 2021 in the low six figures.
