At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Herr was assigned to Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Hoboken, New Jersey, and the male child was a parishioner of the church. The sexual abuse took place in locations including the rectory near Ss. Peter and Paul Church and in an apartment building in Hoboken.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Herr included the following: Father Herr repeatedly kissed the boy on the lips, fondled the boy’s penis and testicles, skin-on-skin, and performed oral sex on the boy.
  • The claim settled in February 2020 in the low six figures.
