  • Monsignor James J. Haddad was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least 4 occasions from approximately 1976 to 1977 when the boy was approximately 13 to 14 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Monsignor Haddad was assigned to St. Eulalia Church in Winchester, Massachusetts.
  • The sexual abuse by Monsignor Haddad included the following: Monsignor Haddad performed oral sex on the boy; Monsignor Haddad forced the boy to perform oral sex on him; Monsignor Haddad digitally penetrated the boy’s anus; and Monsignor Haddad sodomized the boy.
  • The Archdiocese of Boston agreed to settle the claim in 2021.
