- Father Thomas J. Crum was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on one occasion in approximately 1981 when the boy was approximately 12 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Crum was assigned to St. Christine’s Church in Youngstown, Ohio. The sexual abuse took place in a hotel in Colorado during a trip Father Crum took with the boy.
- The sexual abuse by Father Crum included the following: Father Crum gave the boy alcohol to drink, and the boy felt the effects of the alcohol. Father Crum then removed all of his clothing and instructed the boy to remove his own clothing. Father Crum then placed the boy’s hand on Father Crum’s erect penis, skin-on-skin.
- The claim settled in 2020 in the low five figures.

- Father Dallinger was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least 100 occasions from approximately 1970 until approximately 1973 when the boy was approximately 10 to 13 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Dallinger was assigned to St. Mark’s Church in Brooklyn, New York.
- The sexual abuse by Father Dallinger included the following: Father Dallinger fondling the boy’s genitals over the boy’s clothing, Father Dallinger having the boy fondle Father Dallinger’s genitals over Father Dallinger’s clothing, Father Dallinger pulling down the boy’s pants and underwear and fondling the boy’s genitals skin-on-skin, Father Dallinger exposing his genitals to the boy, Father Dallinger having the boy fondle Father Dallinger’s genitals skin on skin, and Father Dallinger inserting his finger into the boy’s anus.
- The Diocese of Brooklyn agreed to settle the claim in the high five figures in 2021.

- Father Arthur Devlin, S.M. was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least three occasions in approximately 1959 when the male child was approximately thirteen years old. The boy came to know Father Devlin because Father Devlin was apparently the nephew of Father Charles McInnis, the pastor of Our Lady of Presentation Church in Brighton, Massachusetts, the boy’s parish.
- The sexual abuse by Father Devlin took place in multiple locations when Father Devlin took the boy on trips. The abuse included the following: Father Devlin fondled the boy’s penis and testicles, skin-on-skin, and Father Devlin inserted his finger into the boy’s anus.
- The claim settled in April 2020 in the mid five figures.

- Father Leon Dicks, O.F.M.Conv. was accused of sexually abusing a female minor child on approximately thirty occasions from approximately 1958 to 1961 when the female child was approximately eleven to fourteen years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Dicks was assigned as a chaplain at St. Francis Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey, and the female child received treatment on multiple occasions at the hospital. The sexual abuse took place in the girl’s hospital room.
- The sexual abuse by Father Dicks included the following: Father Dicks kissed the girl on the lips, inserting his tongue into her mouth. Father Dicks fondled the girl’s vagina and penetrated her vagina with his fingers. Father Dicks exposed his penis to the girl and forced the girl to touch his penis with her hand and kiss his penis.
