The sexual abuse took place inside the rectory of St. Paul’s Church in Franklin, NH, and inside Father Jannetta’s car in or around Franklin, NH.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Jannetta included the following: Father Jannetta fondling the boy’s genitals; Father Jannetta forcing the boy to masturbate in front of Father Jannetta; and Father Jannetta forcing the boy to masturbate Father Jannetta’s penis.

Summary:
  • Father Pasquale J. Barletta was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least four occasions from approximately 1963 when the male child was approximately fourteen years old until approximately 1965 when the male child was approximately sixteen years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Barletta was assigned to St. Patrick’s Church in Watertown, MA, and the male child belonged to the parish. The sexual abuse took place inside Father Barletta’s car.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Barletta included the following: Father Barletta gave the boy alcohol to drink and Father Barletta fondled the boy’s penis and testicles over his clothes.
  • The claim settled in June 2023 in the mid-to-high five figures.

Summary:
  • Father Michael Amy was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least three occasions in approximately 1980 when the male child was approximately fifteen years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Amy was assigned to Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie, Pennsylvania, and the male child was a student at the school. The sexual abuse took place inside the school and in Father Amy’s residence near the school.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Amy included the following: Father Amy performed oral sex on the boy and forced the boy to perform oral sex on Father Amy until Father Amy ejaculated.
  • The claim settled in March 2020 in the low six figures.
