At the time of the sexual abuse, Father Parme was assigned to Most Holy Name Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and the boy served as an altar boy at the church.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Parme took place in Father Parme’s car and inside Most Holy Name Church. The sexual abuse included the following: Father Parme reached into the boy’s pants and fondled the boy’s penis and testicles, skin-on-skin.
  • The claim settled in 2020 in the low five figures.

  • Father Gabriel Patil, c.r.s.p., was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on one occasion in approximately 1992 when the boy was approximately 8 years old. The sexual abuse occurred inside the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Northampton, Pennsylvania. The victim, who served as an altar boy at the church, reported that Father Patil occasionally filled in as a priest at the church.
  • The sexual abuse by Father Patil included the following: under the guise of helping the boy put on his altar boy robes for Mass, Father Patil reached inside the boy’s pants and fondled the boy’s penis and testicles, skin-on-skin.
  • The claim settled in 2020 in the mid-five figures.

  • The claim settled in May 2020 in the mid six figures.
