- Father McAuliffe died in 1989.
- Father James McAuliffe was accused of sexually abusing two male children during the time period of approximately 1966 to 1969 when one child was approximately eleven to twelve years old and the other was approximately thirteen to sixteen years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father McAuliffe was assigned to St. Thomas Church in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, and the boys were parishioners at the church. Much of the sexual abuse took place inside the church and in the nearby rectory affiliated with the church.
- The sexual abuse by Father McAuliffe included the following: Father McAuliffe would give the boys long, tight hugs, rubbing his body against theirs such that they could feel his erect penis against their bodies over their clothes. One of the boys also reported that Father McAuliffe reached inside the front of the boy’s pants and underwear and fondled the boy’s penis and testicles, skin-on-skin.
- The claims both settled in 2020 in the mid five figures.

- Father McBarron was accused of sexually abusing a female minor child on at least 20 occasions from approximately 1977 until approximately 1979 when the girl was approximately 13 to 14 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father McBarron was assigned to St. Mary’s Church in Newark, New Jersey.
- The sexual abuse by Father McBarron included the following: Father McBarron fondling the girl’s breasts over her clothing, Father McBarron exposing his genitals to the girl and having the girl fondle his genitals skin on skin, and Father McBarron forcing the girl to perform oral sex on him until he ejaculated.
- The Archdiocese of Newark agreed to settle the claim in the low to mid six figures in 2021.

- Father Paul R. McCarthy was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least two occasions from approximately 1989 to 1990 when the boy was approximately 11 to 12 years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father McCarthy was assigned to St. Catherine of Siena Church in Norwood, Massachusetts.
- The sexual abuse by Father McCarthy included the following: Father McCarthy told the boy to strip down to his underwear. Then Father McCarthy fondled the boy’s genitals and buttocks, over the boy’s underwear; at the same time, Father McCarthy was masturbating.
- The Archdiocese of Boston agreed to settle the claim in 2021.

- Father James McDonnell was accused of sexually abusing a male minor child on at least thirty occasions from approximately 1978 to 1979 when the male child was approximately thirteen to fourteen years old. At the time of the sexual abuse, Father McDonnell was assigned to Maternity B.V.M. Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The sexual abuse took place in locations including the rectory near Maternity B.V.M. Church.
- The sexual abuse by Father McDonnell included the following: Father McDonnell performed oral sex on the boy and forced the boy to perform oral sex on Father McDonnell. On about two occasions, Father McDonnell also sodomized the boy.
- The claim settled in April 2020 in the low six figures.
